Internal Landscapes

Creative consultancy book design.

Dima Karout, the author - a London-based art curator and creative director - created this book as part of a wide project she curated and produced as part of the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture.

The aim

Dima actively engaged in conversations with different Council teams, local libraries, organisations and art institutions, aiming to encourage thinking from different perspectives to inform policy on social engagement and inclusive practices. She opened up a creative investigation into places that are meaningful to residents and initiated conversations to reflect on how the places we inhabit contribute to our identity.

Inspired by the research and encounters with over 25 organisations and 100 individuals, she designed and produced – Internal Landscapes. The book captures some of the stories, poems, prints, learning and experiences that have come out of the project.

Approach & Solution

We undertook the responsibility of meticulously designing and finalising the art book, paying attention to every aspect to ensure its utmost excellence. With our unwavering commitment to quality, we closely supervised the entire printing process, leaving no room for compromise. The result was a beautifully crafted art book that captured the essence of the artwork and combined that creative side with written reflections, learnings and contributions by all partners. The publication delighted its audience with its exquisite presentation, format and accessibility.
